Meeting David Sharpe - St Regis, Singapore

Here we are  with David Sharpe , co-founder of Empower Network ,

at a private dinner for 30 folks in Empower Network Singapore, St Regis.

I spent more time with David Sharpe than I was able to with David Wood, the very first CEOs in sandals who I've ever met in person ! What can I say - David Sharpe - is WSYWIG for sure ! Very approachable - he went up to the guests assembled there  to chat folks up !  Very refreshing indeed to meet such down-to-earth mega successful entrepreneurs. He also made it a point to impress upon me & Ben that he is also enjoying a debt free life , while making a 6 figure income ! Way to go , dude !

I can definitely relate - I think Dave Sharpe will definitely flip if he knew that my car is fully paid for ( where ONLY in good ole Sunny Singapore , you need to get a SGD97,000 COE piece of paper before physically possessing a car ! Ho ho ho ! )

I would love to share with you here about what else David Sharpe represents  !

You see, one thing that the founders of Empower Network teach is transparency, and sometimes that takes guts.

Here is just a short excerpt from one of his stories…

Needless to say, I got hungry. And I needed money. And to get money, I needed “a hustle”. At this time of my life, I spent a lot of time around a local pool-hall.

Here, I saw it all — gambling (for small and surprisingly large amounts), drug dealing, prostitution, and crime of all sorts.

I took what seemed like the high road, and followed in the foot steps of the hustlers and dealers I grew up around, mainly because I was not into gambling, stealing or being a “pimp”.

1.       People who make money don’t directly attack each other generally. It’s a waste of our time. (notice how I left this person’s name out – and please, leave it out of the comments if you know who it is – this is not a bad person, they just have some poverty issues.)

 2. Critics are generally broke.

3. Technical skills do not make money. Pretty sites don’t make money. Good marketing makes money.

Part of the controversial nature of David Wood is his use of wild and crazy statements that cause people to click on his pictures and his videos to see what he has to say.

For instance, he recently sent out an email to his entire database with a picture of him bending over, suggesting that it represented the compensation plans of other companies that pay smaller commissions compared to his 100% commission model.

 

When you look at this picture, you can’t help but react in an emotional way.

For instance, some people would think it was funny and laugh.  Some people would feel offended, and perhaps outright mad, feeling like it was an attack on our modern culture.

Others might feel offended or even “grossed out” by it.

While others might not feel any of these emotions, but would be tempted to click just to find out what it was all about…

Earning while we're learning

The Big Check

Here I am , just a Mom of 2-  made $5,100 in 51 days, partime , as a newbie in affiliate marketing in Empower Network!

After 2 years into it, Ebay made changes to their fees and simply squeezed the small time players out and we just couldn't compete with the wave of big players flooding their supplies in my niche. Sure I made some modest money .  I readjusted my financial sails again. & I never gave up finding income while working from home.

Fast forward to 2012, I have since learnt to leave fear behind when taking action to make certain decisions that could change my financial situation in a wink of an eye  . I made "guru money" in my first 2 weeks with Empower Network

 I stumbled unto the concept of Affiliate Marketing end of August, through a friend i would have least expected to tell me about it  and within 6 days in September , I've made my quickest 4 figure income in recent times!

Building a Business while having a Life

What if you could make up for all the lost chances and lost money you could have made in 2012..... .....in the next 30 days? What if all the goals you didn't accomplish and all the opportunity you didn't seize.... .....vanished in an instant? No matter what 'new years resolutions' you make...... If nothing changes. Nothing changes. Hell, who knows, you may be one of those 'masochists' people who like pain. But my guess is... you don't. You'd rather start over fresh. And the good news is..... ....we have a system that WORKS..... ....IF you're willing to follow some simple instructions. But the question is.....
